HAP-py Feet Foot Care Clinic

Tri-Lakes Health Advocacy Partnership (HAP) is partnering with the Visiting Nurse Association to offer a monthly, low-cost Foot Care Clinic in the Tri-Lakes area.

The Foot Care Clinic is focused primarily toward senior citizens or to those who have difficulty caring for their feet, whether it is because of flexibility limitations, mobility problems, or unable to see the feet. This medical foot clinic is staffed by a registered nurse.

Foot Clinic services include:

30 minutes with a registered nurse
Toenail clipping, trimming and filing
Callous and corn buffing
Circulation check
Monofilament test
Skin condition examination
Pulse check in both feet
Blood presure
Foot care education

Where: At the Tri-Lakes HAP Senior Citizens Center (on the Lewis-Palmer High School campus, across Jackson Parkway from the Tri-Lakes YMCA).
When: Second Wednesday of each month. Appointments are 30 minutes each.
Cost: Appointments are $30. Limited financial assistance is available from HAP for qualifying individuals.
