Senior Citizens CenterThe Tri-Lakes Senior Citizens Center serves as a daily focal point for senior activities. The new center is now open! It is located in a modular building at Lewis-Palmer High School. Our many thanks to School District 38 for making the facility available to Tri-Lakes HAP for use as a Senior Citizens Center. The 4000 square foot Senior Citizens Center is the culmination of generous contributions from many business, organizations and individuals, combined with single-minded commitment and hard work from community volunteers. Chuck Roberts was recognized as having the vision for creating the center and for pulling all the resources together to ultimately make it a reality.
Tri-Lakes HAP spearheaded the initiative to create a senior citizens center, and Lewis-Palmer School District 38 donated the modular building that houses the center. Other significant contributors to the project included Access Construction, Black Hills Energy, R Rock Yard, and Recycled Aggregate Products Co.
The Senior Citizens Center contains a lounge, craft room, game room, and multi-purpose room. Seniors have access to quiet reading areas, computers with Internet connections, board games, card games, bridge club, arts and crafts, Wii video games with a large screen TV, and much more.
