The Tri-Lakes Senior Citizens Center is officially opened on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 by Chuck Roberts (left) representing Tri-Lakes Health Advocacy Partnership, and Dr. Raymond Blanch (right), Superintendent of School District 38 sharing the honors. Holding the ribbon (far left) is Dave Van Ness, Executive Director of the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and Mark Ennis (far right), President of Tri-Lakes HAP Board of Directors. Watching the event, (left to right) are Travis Easton, Monument mayor, John Cressman, Palmer Lake mayor, and four others.

The 4000 square foot Senior Citizens Center is the culmination of generous contributions from many business, organizations and individuals, combined with single-minded commitment and hard work from community volunteers. Chuck Roberts was recognized as having the vision for creating the center and for pulling all the resources together to ultimately make it a reality.
